Lev is Hebrew for heart. We are all looking to experience life with with a little more Lev!

Founded by Devorah and Rabbi Shlomo Buxbaum,  The LEV Experience is a grassroots organization meant for anyone looking to deepen their connection to Jewish life and learn more about the wisdom and the values that Jewish living contains within it. 

Our mission is to empower individuals to find greater meaning, purpose, and possibilities in life by deepening their connection to Jewish wisdom and values.

We offer learning opportunities and powerful Jewish experiences in homes, offices, and other great venues in the Greater Washington area, giving our participants the opportunity to experience Judaism in a setting and at a pace that excites them.

Drawing on a wide range of sources, including classic Torah texts, mystical works, psychology and modern-day thinkers, and his own personal experiences as a Rabbi and coach, Rabbi Buxbaum presents a close-up look at the constant struggles that are happening within each of these inner worlds. Each chapter is filled with the practical tools and habits to help us advance on the journey towards mastering the elements and becoming the greatest possible version of ourselves.
